The stand-alone field test will be administered online only.

• Reading Language Arts (RLA)

All students at a selected campus who are enrolled in an assigned grade or course and who are scheduled to take the corresponding STAAR assessment in spring 2024 should participate in the stand-alone field test. This includes emergent bilingual students and students who receive special education services, unless a student requires an accommodation that is not available for the field test. (Most online accommodations—including content and language supports, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text—will be available for students who need them, but American Sign Language and Braille versions will not be available for the stand-alone field test.)

We will have Welcome Wednesday for certain grade levels. Please only plan to attend on the dates indicated for your child's specific grade level. The next Welcome Wednesday lunch will be held on February 14, 2024.

Lace up and get ready for Spring ISD’s Fun Run and Wellness Fair! It’s happening at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2 at Planet Ford Stadium!

Registration is still open for the event, which includes a 5K course and a 1.5 mile course. Students can register for $15, while adult registration costs $20. You can sign up now at www.springisd.org/funrun.

This year, we’re celebrating your inner hero. So be sure to dress up as your favorite superhero to really get in the spirit! And be sure to join us afterwards for a wellness fair, music and kid-friendly activities.
