Falcon High School 2024
Week of January 13
From the Principal
Falcon Family,
Last week was a cold week! We missed some athletic contests due to the weather that will be made up. Below the calendar for the week is a link to our CSML events calendar to help keep you up to date.
On Friday we spoke to most 3rd hour classes (we'll finish the remaining classes on Monday) about 3 things. Tardies, Hall Passes, and Cell Phones. We re-emphasized our expectations in these areas. I have asked staff to focus on marking late arriving students tardy and we will begin following up with consequences. For Hall Passes, students should leave their cell phones in the classroom and proceed to the nearest restroom facility. Lastly, we reminded them of the D49 Cellphone protocols - cell phones are not to be used during academic time. They may use their cell phones before and after school, during passing periods, and during lunch only. We appreciate your support!

A gentle reminder to check your student’s school fees using your Parent Portal in PowerSchool. Fees for Winter Sports and second semester classes have been assessed. It is recommended that all fees for Seniors be paid 30 days before graduation.
We are looking for a student representative from FHS to join our Career and College Software Platform Committee. This committee's work will help guide the selection of a replacement for YouSci. We will meet for 1-2 one-hour sessions, potentially with a third session, all via video conference.
