Community Classroom Teacher - Christina Stibely
My name is Christina Stibely and I am a new Special Educator at WUHSMS. I am very excited to be the new teacher of the Community Classroom. I have a Master’s in Special Education and I am an Educational Evaluator from New Jersey, my home state. I recently moved up to Vermont this past April and I am thoroughly enjoying the green mountain state with its wonderful outdoor opportunities such as kayaking, trail running, and skiing which I thoroughly enjoy. At home I have a dog Ted and a cat named Tiger, I am definitely an animal lover.
I was particularly drawn to Woodstock schools as I love the wonderful inclusion you offer here as well as the courses for our students. I look forward to meeting you and my experience in New Jersey and Rhode Island as a previous special education director, teacher, and ed evaluator provides me with a well-rounded background in education.
Thank you
Greenhouse Manager/ Assistant Teacher - Abbie Castriotta
I graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2021 with a BS in Environmental Studies and a BA in Studio Art -- an unlikely combination that I found often interested in farming and gardening. Since graduating, I worked as a field biologist studying the Kirtland's Warbler in Michigan and just finished up an AmeriCorps term as the Mountain Ecology Field Technician at the Vermont Center for Ecostudies. In my free time, I love to cook, make art (I am working on illustrating a new permaculture book and teaching a few workshops at Artistree this fall), and trail run. I love the interdisciplinary aspect of the CRAFT program and am excited to be able to combine the ecological knowledge and research design skills I have gained in past positions with my passion for agriculture as the new Garden/Greenhouse Manager and Teaching Assistant. I am also looking forward to helping to coach the cross country team in the fall!

Pastimes include baking and cooking, as well as watching her children explore the world around them.
School Counselor grades 10, 11, 12 - Sarah Smith
Sarah is a dual graduate of the University of Connecticut. She first earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies and then a Masters of Social Work, focusing on Community Organizing and International Social Work. Sarah loves the outdoors and spends much of her free time hiking, skiing, biking, and spending time with her dog.
