December Newsletter: A Season of Gratitude and Growth
Dear Team,
As we welcome the final month of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared and the legacy we are building together. December is a season of joy, togetherness, and reflection, and I can’t help but feel immense gratitude for all the ways you have embodied our mantra: We Before Me.
Over the past month, you have shown what it truly means to work as a unified team, putting students, families, and our community first. Your actions have created joyful memories that will be cherished for years to come. From stepping up to lead tutorials and ensuring each student’s needs are met, to the way you came together for our Thanksgiving potluck, you’ve made a lasting impact.
Speaking of our potluck, what a wonderful display of teamwork and generosity! Thank you to everyone who contributed, and a special shoutout to Ms. Miller and Ms. Reveles for going above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. Moments like these show how deeply we care for one another and reflect the sense of family we strive to create every day.
In the classroom and beyond, you’ve worked as a team to grow forward in our craft for the betterment of our students. Your efforts to refine practices, collaborate, and support one another leave an imprint that speaks volumes about the heart and passion of this staff. Together, we are leaving every space, every student, and every connection better than we found it.
As we move into December, let us prioritize the joy and wonder this season brings—for ourselves and our students. Whether through a warm smile, a word of encouragement, or an engaging lesson, know that your actions make a difference. The legacy of We Before Me is alive in all that you do.
Thank you for your heart, your dedication, and your unyielding commitment to our students and one another. I am so proud to serve alongside such an inspiring group of educators. Let’s finish the year strong and continue making memories that will last a lifetime!
With gratitude,
Venitra Senegal

Congratulations to Mr. Ray Saves the Day our WES Staff of the Week!
Mr. Ray: WES’s Everyday Superhero!
Mr. Ray is the heart and soul of WES, saving the day in countless ways! Whether he’s offering a calm and caring presence for our little Tigers who need someone to talk to or helping them cool down and learn essential life skills, Mr. Ray is always there to provide the support they need. He also goes above and beyond to guide our parents, equipping them with tools to nurture their child’s social-emotional growth.
But that’s not all—Mr. Ray brings joy and positivity to our campus every single day, whether it’s through his jokes that brighten our mornings or the delicious meals he prepares through “Top Dawg Catering.” His selfless dedication and genuine care embody the spirit of We Before Me.
We are truly grateful to have Mr. Ray as a part of our WES family. He is a superhero in every sense of the word, and we’re so lucky to call him one of our own!
