EBC Family,

The Christmas season is upon us. There will be multiple ways for you to celebrate the birth of our Savior this month with your Church Family. Sunday night 12/11 at 6:00 p.m. is Jingle Jam. This is an event to invite your neighbors to; especially families with children. It is an hour of games, songs, silliness, and sharing the Christmas story.

We will celebrate our Silent Lord’s Supper on Sunday night 12/18 from 6:00 to 6:30. This is a “come and go” event in the Worship Center for you and your family to meditate on the death of Jesus and the forgiveness we have in Him. Our Christmas Eve service will be at 6:00 p.m. on 12/24 followed by a Christmas Day service at 10:45 a.m. (Grow Groups are not scheduled to meet on Christmas Day). I hope you will take advantage of these opportunities as well as our regular meeting times to celebrate Jesus this Christmas season.

We have 2 special called business meetings in December. The first will be directly after the morning service on 12/11 to vote on the 2023 Budget and 2023 Committees. The second meeting will be Wednesday night 12/21 at 6:00 p.m. to consider recommendations from our Personnel Committee as well as our Deacons.

Caring and Sharing

It's time for Caring and Sharing again! Emmanuel is collecting unwrapped gifts for girls ages

13-18. A donation box will be out until December 8. All donations must be unwrapped. Some suggestions include: make-up, comfy throws, socks, board games, headphones, portable speaker, nail polish, jewelry, gloves, and scarves.

You can also leave a monetary donation at the church office. Please make your check payable to Caring and Sharing. For more information, please contact the church office.

Wedding Shower Basket

A shower basket will be across from the Worship Center until December 18th. Shae and Leanne Otey were married in August of 2022.

Ladies Christmas Home Tour

Ladies join us for a delightful evening starting at 6pm. We will begin with snacks in the atrium before going out to tour the homes of three Emmanuel families!

Tickets are available by

donation to the Lottie Moon Offering.

Childcare will be provided for children under 5.

Ladies Coffee Talk

December 13 from 7pm - 8pm

Upstairs in the Student Wing. We want this to be a time to come together and discuss topics of interest to women. Bring a drink with you and "refuel" for the week ahead. All women invited, invite a friend or neighbor!

Christmas Bell Ringing

December 12 from 4pm - 8pm

We need 8 families or volunteers for the evening. Each shift is 1 hour.

Senior Adult Day Trip

Senior Adults you are invited to join us for a day of shopping in Oklahoma City. A shuttle is leaving Emmanuel at 9:30am on December 15. We are going to stop for lunch and then plan to shop before returning to Weatherford.
