Happy New Year Eagles!!

We hope you all had a fantastic holiday season, and we are excited to start the second half of our school year. We have several events coming up soon, including ticket sales for our Winter Wonderland Dance and the beginning of our Krispy Kreme fundraiser. See below for details and dates of important happenings at our school.

Today is the first day of the third quarter and the beginning of second semester. Report cards for second quarter will be sent home on Friday, January 10. Please encourage your children to put forth effort and always try their best in school. Success is a choice!

Winter Wonderland Dance

Our Winter Wonderland Dance will be held on Friday, January 17, 5:30-7:30pm. Tickets will be pre-sale only, and the tickets will be available Monday, January 6 - Wednesday, January 15. Tickets are $5.00 each, and at least one adult must attend with students. Appetizers will be included, and photographs will be available for purchase.

Box Tops

Thank you to all who donated Box Tops! We will be collecting until the beginning of May. Please continue to collect Box Tops and turn them in by April. Box Tops provide extra funding for our school.

We received sad news at Clyde Erwin Elementary this week. Kristin Johnson, our speech language pathologist, passed away over the holiday break following a car accident while visiting family in Pennsylvania. It is a very sad, difficult time for students and staff. Miss Johnson will be sorely missed. Ms. Nathan, our school counselor, Mrs. Delekta, our social worker, Mrs. Gualtieri, our assistant principal, and I are available to support your children during this difficult time. Please take time to talk to your children this weekend about their thoughts and feelings, and let us know if we can be of assistance or provide any additional support.

We review our behavior expectations with students regularly so they can show school pride at CEES and earn Class DoJo points. Students must earn 100 Class DoJo points during the month to participate in the schoolwide PBIS celebrations. Please review our CEES acronym with students at home to help support our program:
