Principal's Message
Greetings SHMS community!
Congratulations to our 6th graders for earning the most points in Term 3 and winning the right to dress down during the upcoming week! The last day to turn in any late, missing, or revised work for Term 3 is tomorrow and students come back to school on Tuesday to kick off Term 4 and the home stretch of the school year.
Our 7th and 8th graders were very focused and worked hard on last week's CAPE exams in ELA. In the upcoming week before Spring Break we will continue CAPE testing. 8th graders will take their Science exam and we will begin make-ups for 7th and 8th graders who missed any sections of last week's exams. CAPE continues immediately after the break and we thank you for continuing to make sure that students are well rested, full of healthy foods, and on-time for school everyday. Most importantly, please encourage and reassure them so they are feeling optimistic about their readiness for the exams. They have all worked hard and been well-supported by our educators this year so I know that is true for everyone!
We are have ambitious goals to quickly meet our enrollment goals for next school year very soon. Families have been enrolling and re-enrolling over the last week and we are excited to report the following progress for each grade level (numbers reflect the number of enrollment applications submitted):
Rising 6th: 19 students
Rising 7th: 27 students
Rising 8th: 13 students
Enrollment and re-enrollment will earn students access to different activities and events in preparation for the upcoming school year. If you have not done so already, please re-enroll your student for school year 2025-26 now. We have a short week and Spring break ahead of us before the final sprint to the end of the school year.
Let's have a great week together and I look forward to seeing students again on Tuesday morning!

Stuart-Hobson Student Attendance
The Cluster is a strong community of families, and the PTA strengthens that community by working together to support our students and campuses. Joining the PTA is a great opportunity to learn more about our school, enrich the student experience, and meet new people. PTA dues help fund critical programs, as well as supplies for music, art, library, and athletics.
