Hallie Hackett graduated as Valedictorian from Hooks High School in 2023. She is an Animal Science Major at Texas A&M University. Hallie has been involved in agriculture her whole life and has raised and exhibited Simbrah cattle for 10 years. During her time in high school, she was highly involved in FFA, competing in every area of contest available and holding numerous offices. She has also served as the President and Queen for the Texas Junior Simmental/Simbrah Association and currently serves as a South Central Region Trustee and Vice President of Leadership for the American Junior Simmental Association. At Texas A&M, she is a member of Saddle & Sirloin and the Texas Aggie Cattlewomen, as well as an Honors Animal Science Student.

Now is the time to share our GFGSF application for college scholarship with 2024 high school graduates!
The Grace Fort Gouldsby Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships for the purpose of recognizing high school seniors in the state of Texas who have demonstrated outstanding and committed service in their community as well as academic excellence. This award is intended to provide financial assistance to such students in attaining their educational and career goals.
Scholarship Award:
The Grace Fort Gouldsby Foundation Scholarship will award a minimum of one scholarship a year to a Texas high school senior planning on attending an accredited college or university. The Scholarship will award $2,000 to the student and will be dispersed bi-annually. Book scholarships are also awarded.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the Grace Fort Gouldsby Scholarship Foundation award you must:
- Be accepted to attend an accredited College or University
- Be a graduating high school senior and must graduate prior to September 1 of the Award year
- Must be a Texas resident
- Demonstrate academic excellence and community service
The deadline for application submission is August 31. Apply online
