Benchmark Testing

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to bring to your attention that we have an important district exam coming up in just 16 days. This Benchmark Exam is designed to closely mirror the STAAR Exam, providing us with valuable insights into our students' understanding and readiness. The results of this assessment will play a critical role in shaping our approach to personalized instruction for each child, allowing us to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

It is essential that your child is present in school every day leading up to this exam. Consistent attendance will ensure they have the opportunity to fully engage with the material and participate in any review sessions that we may hold. We want every student to be as prepared as possible, so we encourage you to support their learning at home as well.

The Benchmark Exam will take place on February 4th, and we want all our students to feel confident and ready. Please take a moment to discuss the importance of this exam with your child and encourage them to put forth their best effort.

Field Trips

Houston Rockets Field Trip

Several of our students will be taking a free Field Trip to the Houston Rockets game Monday January 13th. Permission slips have already been provided for all students that will attend.

Skating Field Trip Incentive

All students that excel on their Benchmark Exam will take a free field trip to the Skating Rink!!! This is our way of thanking them for all of their hard work.

Tutorials

Attention Parents: Tutorials will commence on Monday, January 13th. Students who participate in tutorials will receive a colored wristband at the end of each session. This wristband grants them the privilege of wearing free dress the next school day. However, it is essential that they wear their wristbands, as this is the only way to enjoy the free dress benefit. We encourage all students to take advantage of these tutorials to enhance their learning experience and build valuable skills.
