Happy Sunday Eagles!

We had another fantastic week at Clyde Erwin, and we are excited about our upcoming week! Congratulations to our Academic Derby Team! Our team returned on Wednesday with a 3-2 record, and they beat Hunter's Creek Elementary, Swansboro Elementary, and Carolina Forest Elementary. We are so proud of their hard work! Thank you Mr. Sanfilippo for your coaching and guidance during practices and the competition!

Congratulations to our Exceptional Children's Department on winning your Bright Idea grant for $1,000! Thank you for your hard work, energy, and dedication to our students every day.

Thank you to all of you who have supported Ms. Corie by purchasing the 'Corie Strong' bracelets for $1.00. We have raised about $300.00 so far! We have a few bracelets left, so please stop by the office to purchase one. This money will go directly to Ms. Corie and her family. Additionally, our second grade students will be selling homemade ornaments on Wednesday for $1.00 to support Ms. Corie. Check out their commercials below:

Friday, December 13 is our last day prior to winter intercession. It is Pajama Day for everyone. We encourage all students to participate in Pajama Day with us!

Box Tops

Thank you to all who donated Box Tops! We will be collecting until the beginning of May. Please continue to collect Box Tops and turn them in by April. Box Tops provide extra funding for our school.

Make-up Days

We have one additional make-up day due to time missed during Hurricane Dorian. Students will also attend school on Friday, January 3, 2020, which was a teacher workday and is now a student day. Please make adjustments to your calendars.

We review our behavior expectations with students regularly so they can show school pride at CEES and earn Class DoJo points.
