And now, a word from our teachers across the school...
Music and Drama
The band, chorus and drama students enchanted a full house audience with their winter concert. Sixth grade band students made beautiful music after just three months of learning their instruments. Seventh and eighth grade band students filled the air with delightful melodies. A select group of drama students represented the Nativity while chorus amazed us with their soloists' performances and perfect harmony.

Eighth Grade
8th grade recently traveled to the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia to complete a treasure hunt for Dr. Moseley while learning more about our state through the museum's displays.
Guidance
In December, a representative from the Governor's School of the Arts came to speak to our 8th grade students. They learned about careers in the arts field and opportunities for arts camps the summer after 8th and 9th grade. Additionally, the students learned about the residential high school program that can be applied for during their 10th grade year. This presentation was an excellent opportunity for our students to begin learning about all of the opportunities that lay ahead for them.
Library
We are excited to welcome author Landra Jennings on January 10th!
The library is offering 12 ounce jars of honey for sale to support the replacement of the school's observation bee hive. They are asthetically labeled and would make nice gifts for $15 each.
