Thank You Message from Gigi's Playhouse (Penny Wars)
On behalf of GiGi's Playhouse, I would love to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the entire Addams school! Thank you to the PTA who started this collaboration back in August of 2024. Thank you to the staff who promoted this fundraiser and kept their students excited. Ms Say and anyone who helps her take all those coins to the bank-thank you it's a heavy task! The biggest thank you to the JEDI students who made the posters, educated the student body, and stayed in during their lunch for 2 weeks counting and rolling coins! I can't thank everyone enough! This is the most $ raised for our playhouse by an elementary school since we opened in 2019!
M-STEP Scheduling
Students in grade 3-5 will be taking the M-STEP this year. Please see the schedule below for specific dates. Please note that the M-STEP is required by the state of Michigan.
We ask that your child is at school on time on each of the scheduled testing days and comes to school well-rested.
Also, electronic devices (smartphones, smart watches, cell phones, book readers, electronic tablets, cameras, non-approved calculators, music players, voice recorders, etc.) are not allowed to be with students during the testing sessions.

Malala's Magic Pencil
Author: Malala Yousafzai
Illustrator: Kerascoët
Focus: Women’s History- Inclusion & Belonging
As a child in Pakistan, Malala made a wish for a magic pencil. She would use it to make everyone happy, to erase the smell of garbage from her city, to sleep an extra hour in the morning. But as she grew older, Malala saw that there were more important things to wish for. She saw a world that needed fixing.
