Raise Craze Fall Fundraiser!
Earn money for Briarcliff through acts of kindness
Raise Craze is an easy way to give back to our community while also giving to our school. There are no pledges to collect and no selling... just kindness! ♡ By completing Acts of Kindness (AOKs) for others, our students learn the value of gratitude and spend time serving, not selling! Learn more in our kickoff newsletter.
Running through October 4, our fall fundraiser is the PTA's biggest source of funding for the year. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donations will go directly to our school and students.
Help us raise $25,000 to provide:
- $200 grants for every teacher
- Equipment for PE, Music, Art, and STEAM
- New books for our school library/media center
- Most importantly, 2,500 Acts of Kindness to our community
After the first 3 days, we've raised almost $3,000, and participating students have logged over 20 AOKs. If we can log 500 AOKs, all students will get an extra recess!
To get started, simply:
- Register your student on our secure online platform,
- Ask family & friends for donations,
- And start logging those AOKs! Yay kindness!
(Don't have time and just want to donate? Click here to cut to the chase!)
Need ideas for your AOKs?
- Donations: We are collecting donations to Note in the Pocket and Read and Feed. Drop your new or gently used clothes and books in the collection bin outside the school office.
- On-site visit: Register here to join us for a visit to the Glade Adult Day Center. Volunteer with your student(s) to spend 1 hour playing games and doing activities with residents on a Teacher Workday (October 3).
Walk, Roll, and Bike to School on October 9
The PTA invites all students, families, and staff to walk (or roll or bike!) to school together on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Wear your Red for Ed(ucation) in solidarity to support each other and our public schools!
- Families who don’t usually walk: Meet outside Duck Donuts (map)! Park in the empty lot along the tree line, not near the businesses, by 8:10am. The route is just under 1/2 mile (about a 12-minute walk) and is stroller and wheelchair accessible, though there are hills and a speed bump.
- Families who usually walk: Walk your normal route and meet up with the group along the way!
- Staff: Meet the group at the corner of Cheswick and Pond (map) by 8:30am.
