Books Read Out Loud and Activities in December and January - Thanks to Miss Karen!
December
- We read Patricia Polacco's Christmas Tapestry and we made a "Light Up With Kindness" banner to display.
- After reading Jan Brett's Gingerbread Baby we made Gingerbread Baby Hats.
January
- We read Snowflake Bentley and made snowflakes.
- Cold Snap was also a good one to read, and the recipe at the back of the book was copied and sent home. Several families tried the snow candy!
- This week we have been reading Sophie Blackall's, If You Come To Earth, which is a truly lovely book.
- We have then been doing a scavenger hunt in the library looking for books we think the aliens would find helpful.
