Mill Creek Mission Statement: Is to ensure individual success and personal development for every student, by cultivating opportunities that equip, empower, and educate all to excel.
From the Principals:
Already into December, the year is flying by! Enjoy the month with your families. It can be a hectic month, but please slow everything down and enjoy the moments. We will be completing our second round of NWEA testing in December. Please stress the importance of effort and your child trying their best on the NWEA tests, we do make many academic decisions based on these results. Every student has an individualized NWEA Growth Goal that we are striving for them to accomplish.
From the Nurse:

Winter Break Reading Challenge Info
The winter reading challenge log can be found HERE. Hard copies of the reading challenge will be given to kids at school before break begins. Students who read 30 minutes for 10 days over winter break will have a fun, hot chocolate-themed party once school starts back up after the break! Logs are due 1/10/2025. Any books count for this challenge! Students reading Mark Twain or Truman books for the Missouri State Challenge can count those for both challenges!
Students can read 4 books to be able to vote on their favorite and attend the reward party in March. If they read 6 books, Students will get to vote, come to the party, get a prize bag, and be entered to win an autographed book.
5th graders can ONLY read from the Mark Twain list. 6th graders can read from the Mark Twain or Truman list.
Library Focus
