Semester 2 Final Exam Schedule (Week 2)
Finals are just around the corner! Here is the bell and bus schedule for the last few days of the year. Morning and mid-day bus routes are available each day. For a printable copy, click here. Students with a study hall or lunch at the start or end of the day may arrive late or leave early. Finish strong!
Summer Construction at LCHS! (New)
Beginning June 2, we will have roof construction on the south end of the building. The Main Entrance will be closed and there will be no access to the Commons, ILC, offices, or classrooms in the C wing. Everyone must enter the school through the Athletic Entrance. The "summer main office" will be at the Athletic Entrance. Call with any questions - our phone number is the same - 847-838-7100!
NOTE: All students enrolled in Summer School should go to Antioch Community High School.

Congratulations to English teacher, Bryan Plinske! He received the 2025 James McKay Award for "exemplifying his outstanding contributions to the growth, development, and advancement of LCHS." It was an honor to have many of the past winners at the breakfast to celebrate Bryan. Thank you to our Booster Club for supporting students AND staff!

Accessing Your ACT Account
Click on this link to find information about creating an optional MyACT account to view and send ACT with Writing scores. PreACT Secure and PreACT 9 Secure reports can not be obtained online. All score reports will be mailed with the students report card.
Final Transcripts for Class of 2025 (Week 2)
Final high school transcripts will be sent to the organizations and entities (colleges, universities, trade unions, employers, etc.) that the students indicated when completing their Senior Exit Survey. We will begin sending final transcripts when we return from the Memorial Day, three-day weekend.
Class of 2026 College Planning and Essay Writing Workshop (Week 2)
The District 117 Post-secondary Counselors are hosting a workshop to prepare you for your college applications and assist you in beginning your college essays. Programming will include a panel of college admission professionals as well as dedicated time to brainstorm, craft, and begin to compose your college essay.
Please email either Ms. McCracken (kelly.mccracken@chsd117.org) at Antioch or Mr. Bargar (nathan.bargar@chsd117.org) at Lakes, with any questions that you may have.
When: June 2 and 3, 9 am- 2 pm
Where: Antioch Community High School
Cost: The program is free and lunch is included both days.

Roughly thirty days after graduation, your school Google accounts will be deactivated. Please see the attached slideshow on how you can preserve your emails and drive documents.

Lake Villa District Library (Week 3)
25-26 Online Registration Open! (Week 3)
Online registration for the 2025–2026 school year is now open. Starting next week, parents and guardians will use the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete the process.
To register:

Step 1: Log in to Infinite Campus using your parent/guardian username and password.

Step 2: In the Message Center, select MORE and then ONLINE REGISTRATION at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Click Start next to 25-26 Existing Student Registration.

Step 4: Click the Begin Online Registration button to get started.

PARKING PASSES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED in the Dean's Office starting August 25, 2025
Parking Enforcement will start September 8, 2025.
* No money is due at this time The parking fee for the 2025-2026 school year will be $100.00 and added to your fees on Infinite Campus. You may pay for parking online once this fee is added, or in person when we return to school. Parking tags will be issued once all school fees have been paid.
* If you do not have a car yet, enter TBD in each vehicle description question.
* Fee Waivers do not apply to parking.

College & Career Center
- Attending a college visit is a great way to learn about colleges/universities.
- College visits are open to Juniors and Seniors and will take place in the College and Career Center.
- To attend a college visit you must both register in Maia Learning and obtain permission to attend from the teacher of the class that you'll be missing 24 school hours in advance (ie. A Monday 8:30am visit requires registration and permission from your teacher by 8:30am the previous Friday).

Latest Highlights
Lacrosse played a very solid game yesterday, but were defeated in the sectional semifinals by Libertyville. Congratulations on a great season! Baseball honored their seniors on Saturday vs. Niles North, and came away with the win! They will face Warren today in a non-conference game and will play Crystal Lake Central in regionals this Thursday. Girls soccer became regional champions with a shoot-out win over Lake Forest on Friday night! They play St. Viator tonight in the sectional semifinals. Should they be fortunate enough to win, they will play the winner of Crystal Lake Central/Deerfield on Friday night in the sectional finals! The softball team is gearing up to host regionals this week. The Eagles play Wauconda in the Lakes regional on 5/28, with the regional final set for Friday, 5/30. Lakes hosted the IHSA sectional on Friday and Saturday at the D 117 Tennis Complex. While we did not have any state qualifiers, Nathan Popov, Cal Bradley, Mitch Gedville, Byron Thieme, Dhruv Pate, and Baasim Akhtar played very well. Kudos on a great season! Volleyball played in the New Trier regional yesterday, but were defeated by Palatine, ending their season. The boys improved as the season progressed and had a quality season! Makayla Williams-Brock ran two great times on Friday at the state meet, but she did not qualify for the finals. She placed 27th in the 100-meter dash, and 20th in the 200-meter dash. We are proud of you! Boys track and field competed at the Grayslake sectional last Thursday night. The Eagles placed 2nd overall and had 10 state qualifiers! The state finals are next weekend in Charleston, at Eastern Illinois University. State Qualifiers: Triple Jump-Patrik Dortch (1st place) Pole Vault-Will Mercure (1st place) Shot Put-Jordan Phelan (2nd place) Discus-Jordan Phelan (1st place) 4 x 800 meter relay-Jackson Summy, Cooper Summy, Blake Salbilla, Brady Mock (1st place) 3200 meter run-Cooper Summy (1st place) 800 meter run-Jackson Summy (1st place) Upcoming Home On-Campus Varsity Events (5/24-5/31) Wednesday, May 28th-Softball vs. Wauconda, 4:30 PM (Regionals) Friday, May 30th-Softball vs. TBA, 4:30 PM (Regionals)
