LMHS Staff has been working hard over the last few weeks to train, plan, and prepare for a great year. We are excited to welcome back all of our returning Warriors and those that are joining the family. As always, we appreciate all that our school community does to support our students in their success. Go Warriors!

As we kick off the school year, it is important to make sure we are accounting for every student and that they understand what is expected of them as students. Homeroom assignments are posted at each entrance when you enter the main hall of the building. All students will report to their homerooms for the first ten days of school. This is where they will receive their schedules as well as many other updates. Over the course of the week Administration will host an assembly for each cohort (grade) to deliver a welcome back message and share with them things they can look forward to this year.

School Day Schedule Reminders:

• Doors open at 7:45
• Breakfast is available at 8:10
• Classes start at 8:30
• Students report to Home Room the first 10 days of school.
• Dismissal is 2:45

Parking permits will be on sale beginning August 19th. All students must register for a pass and pay a $60 parking fee if they would like to park on campus for the 2024-2025 school year. FCS parking regulations and agreement form must be reviewed and completed prior to registration.

Hey Seniors,

This is your friendly reminder to sign up for senior/yearbook pictures if you have not already done so. All seniors need to be photographed by CADY studios if they would like their portrait in the yearbook. CADY will be on campus September 11, 2024 to photograph any senior who does not want to travel to Raleigh for senior portraits.

You can have these pictures taken at school on September 11, 2024. The cost is $29 for portraits taken at the school. Prices vary for in-studio portraits.

We would like to give a shout out to Mr. Keeler for all that he has done to rebuild our band program. Many music programs took a major hit during COVID and he has been working behind the scenes ever since to help our school make a comeback. This year he has taken on the challenge of marching band! This is something that LMHS has not enjoyed in many years and we are excited to see it begin to take shape again. It takes a great deal of courage to step in front of the home crowd and 'Stand on Business' but our Warriors stood proudly last Friday night. Our dedicated Band Boosters continue to support our program and have been instrumental in the growing success of this group of musicians. Thank you!

Fall Sports are in full swing and our athletes and coaches are working hard to to be their very best. Come out and show your support in the coming weeks!
