Welcome:
CEO Note
Even though we’ve been told repeatedly not to plant anything in Berthoud until after
Mother’s Day, in April our thoughts turn to spring and flowers and budding trees. Check
out our special classes this month on waterwise gardening and tree care, and if you
haven’t started your gardening projects yet, visit our Seed Library to gather what you
need to grow your own food this year.
Heads up, we have an unusual closure this month. The library will be closed all day on
Thursday, April 18 for our annual Staff Day. It’s the only day we get to be together as
a team for training, so we’ll be in the building, but the library will NOT be open. We’ll
resume all our usual hours and services on Friday the 19th .
Though we’ll likely still get snow, I’ll say it anyway. Happy Spring, everyone!
Amie P.
Library CEO
