St. Petronille Catholic School
A Note from Mr. Schmidt
Dear St. Petronille Families,
We are ready for Catholic Schools Week! What an awesome opportunity to celebrate the legacy of learning and formation that happens at our Catholic schools, and particularly at St. Petronille!
As a reminder, to show off our pride in our school, we are inviting all students to attend any weekend mass at St. Petronille wearing their school uniform to receive an out-of-uniform day on Monday, February 3. We will use the honor system for the out-of-uniform day. The 11:30 AM mass on Sunday will be special because it will feature our school students as well as kick-off our Open House for prospective families for next year. Please encourage anyone you know who is interested in applying for new admission next year to attend the Open House after the 11:30 mass on Sunday! We could use some more signups to help with weekend masses, so please see the Sign Up Genius below!
As far as admissions are concerned, we already have a large number of submitted applications for new students in our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs for next year. Please keep in mind that our open application window lasts until February 7 and any new student applications from our current families must be submitted by then to ensure priority admission! We also need current families who have not done so to complete their FACTS Enrollment Packet for the 25-26 school year. It is important we know our numbers so that we can effectively manage our admissions process. If you have questions or concerns about enrollment for 25-26, please inform Mrs. Wardynski or me promptly.
If you are unfamiliar with all of the events happening on campus next week for Catholic Schools Week, please see the letter below prepared by our 8th grade classes. Please keep in mind our awesome Culver's Night on Wednesday next week from 5-8 PM as well as the Pancake Breakfast on Friday morning at 7:30 AM in the PLC!
Also, now is the time to begin considering applying for tuition assistance for the 25-26 school year. In last week's letter, I described our tuition assistance option and will leave the Tuition Assistance application link below this letter for several weeks to ensure all families seeking assistance have access and opportunity. Please let me know if you have any questions about tuition assistance for your family!
There's a ton going on and it will be a wonderful week to celebrate our Catholic school! I cannot wait to see everyone at Trivia Night tomorrow night and our masses this weekend!
God bless,
Eric Schmidt

Our Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. prayer service is always a highlight of our school year. Huge thanks t our 5th graders for all of their effort in putting together another memorable service. We in particular loved hearing all of your thoughtful and heartfelt "I Have a Dream" speeches!
Our Spelling Bee was once again a rousing success! We had some super-talented spellers on stage this Wednesday and they got some words right that would have knocked the Principal out of the competition! Special congratulations to our 24-25 winner, Elliot, E-L-L-I-O-T, Elliot!
