March Board of Education Meeting Celebrations
Our Board of Education had an agenda packed full of recognitions and celebrations during their March 20 meeting. Students and staff from Chapelfield shared information about the PACKS program in their building.
The Board also recognized the outstanding accomplishments of the state placers and their coaches for the following sports:
- Girls swimming
- Girls wrestling
- Boys bowling
- Indoor track
In honor of Music in our School month, there were also three musical groups that performed. A cello duet played as community members arrived for the meeting. A Middle School South saxophone trio and Middle School East woodwind quartet also played and were recognized during the meeting.

Superintendent Dr. Tracey Deagle and Treasurer/CFO Cliff Hetzel recently held a community conversation about the proposed state budget and the impacts it will have on our District's financial outlook for the next few years.
If you could not attend, please watch the recorded video from the presentation and consult the Advocating for Fair Funding document for more information and suggestions on how you can help.
