Graduation 2025
Important Information
Mote
Mote is a new name-pronunciation tool that we are using this year for graduation. Your student will be emailed a Google Form on March 17th that will ask them to use the built-in microphone on their Chromebook to record their name, allowing us to capture the correct pronunciation. Students MUST use their Chromebook because the recording is attached to their school email. Please remind your student to speak slowly and clearly.
Cap and Gown
This is the time of year when parents fear that they've forgotten to order their students cap and gown. Don't worry! As part of the school year registration process/fees you have already ordered and paid for them.
Staff Member of the Month (Week 2)

Prom 2025 Information (Week 2)
Prom information was emailed to Juniors and Seniors last week; please check your student email for the Google Form and paperwork you will need to fill out to purchase tickets.
Tickets will be available for purchase March 31st from 8:00-9:00 AM, April 2nd and April 7th from 3:15-4:15 PM in the Cafeteria.
The ticket price is $120 and includes dinner, dessert, and transportation to and from the Marriott Lincolnshire via Coach bus. All necessary paperwork (ticket application, Google form & guest passes) must be completed for each attendee before tickets may be purchased. If you’re unable to purchase tickets yourself, you may send a proxy with your paperwork and payment.
Prom Photos at the Lehmann Mansion Update (Week 3; additional information)
Traditionally, the senior class has gone to the Lehmann Mansion for pictures before Prom. Unfortunately, after contacting the mansion's catering company, we have learned that there is a wedding scheduled there on the same date as our Prom so the mansion will be closed to the public. Additionally, the catering company shared that spring weddings are growing in popularity so the mansion is unlikely to be available for pre-Prom pictures in the future. Please respect that our students are not permitted onto the grounds for pictures at Lehmann Mansion on Saturday, May 3rd.
The Village of Lake Villa has reserved Lehmann Park as an alternate photo site. You may park in the Metra lot for free and cross Cedar Avenue to Lehmann Park for pictures.
We are excited for our students to enjoy Prom at the Lincolnshire Marriott on May 3 and ticket information will be released soon.
Please reach out to Activities Director Amber Cornelius with questions.

College Research Opportunities, Spring 2025 (Week 3 )
In prior years, College of Lake County hosted a spring college fair that allowed freshman- juniors an opportunity to begin exploring colleges/universities at varying stages and in some cases seniors an opportunity to ask some final questions before choosing their college/university Unfortunately, College of Lake County is no longer offering that program, but there will be some other opportunities in the northern and northwest suburbs that are worth checking out.
