SORA Reading

Add the Fulton County Library to your SORA account to access 1,000s of ebooks and audiobooks.

Students in grades K-8 simply log into MyBackpack and select Renaissance to access MyON eBooks.

To access the APS eBook shelf, students should log into MyBackpack. Select the eBooks tile. From here, all apps are accessible for student use.

Access Galileo via myBackpack So what is Galileo? Galileo is Georgia's Virtual Library. It contains an extensive list of databases and online journals of resources searchable by topic, subject, reading level on virtually any topic students may in need to conduct research for essays and research projects.

Need a username/password for Launchpacks? Here you go! Launchpacks can be accessed in the Galileo folder in MyBackpack. This is a great resource to share with your Social Studies teachers and for you to use for your media center lessons.

Loraine Foushee is a life-long learner that enjoys sharing her knowledge with individuals aspiring to reach their full potential. Loraine completed her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Media Production and her Master of Education in Instructional Technology at American InterContinental University (AIU). It was immediately after receiving her Bachelors in Media Production that Loraine started her career as a Production Technician at a market-8 News Station, CBS46 Atlanta for 6 years.
Loraine transitioned to a career in education, she shared her love of media production with high school students for 7 years. Her career has spanned Clayton County, Gwinnett County and Cobb County. Loraine completed her Specialist degree in Education with Certification in Library Media Science in 2013. She accepted her current position as the proud Media Specialist of Barack and Michelle Obama Academy in 2014.
