News from Millard Public Schools

It's hard to learn when you aren't in class. As the school year begins, we join districts across the metro to urge families to get students to school. The path to the future starts by showing up today.

The Board approved repairs to the Millard North Middle School roof which sustained damage in the recent storms. The work will begin immediately. Board members thanked Millard North Middle School's staff and students for their flexibility and creativity as they move forward without a gym for several months.

• Congratulations to Millard leadership honored at this summer's HumanEx Impact and Legacy Summit! Those honored include Assistant Superintendent for Leadership, Planning, and Evaluation Dr. Kim Saum-Mills, former Millard Board Member Dave Anderson, Millard West Activities Director Lance Smith, and former Millard South Coach and Teacher Larry Ribble.
• The Nebraska Choral Directors Association has named Millard South Vocal Music Teacher Jason Stevens as the 2024 Outstanding Choral Director of the Year.
