We have been enjoying our lunch guests! If you are coming in to eat with your child and would like to have your visitor tag ready when you arrive, please email our receptionist the morning you plan to attend. She will work to prepare these so your tag is ready for you.

Thank You Sponsors:
Thank You for Supporting Our Stewart PTO Auction!
Stewart PTO would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your incredible support of our auction. Your generosity and participation made the event a huge success, and we are so grateful for the way the community came together to support our students. We are excited to share that we raised $37,034.36!
The funds raised will go a long way in helping us provide valuable resources and opportunities for our school, and none of it would have been possible without your contributions—whether you donated items, placed bids, or helped spread the word.
Please join us in supporting and thanking these generous businesses who donated to our auction.

Referral Requests for Gifted and Talented Testing:
Referral requests will open October 1 for the Conroe Independent School District Gifted and Talented program. Although the testing will not take place until late January, referral requests are accepted at this time. Referral requests can be made by the parents and/or campus staff. It is recommended that parents of 2nd grade students wait until CogAT scores have arrived before nominating their child because CogAT scores are part of the GT assessment. If you are interested in referring your child, you may want to discuss this with your child’s teacher. Referrals will be accepted October 1- December 19, 2024. You may request a referral form from the front office or the Assistant Principal. You can also find the referral form and other GT information on the CISD GT homepage.

Campus Safety:
Below are some things you need to know regarding safety at Stewart:
- Every visitor to the campus must sign in at the front office. Be prepared to show a government issued ID to visit the campus.
- All visitors must wear a school issued badge the entire time they are on campus.
- Visitor badges will state the area of the building they will visit. Any visitor seen in a different part of the building will be directed back to the front office.
- All volunteers must sign-up to "Volunteer in CISD." Below is the Volunteer Link: CISD Volunteer (conroeisd.net)
- Visitors and volunteers are expected to follow all safety protocols established by the state, district and campus.
- All substitute teachers are required to be trained on campus safety procedures before entering the classroom.
- All staff members are required to wear a school district issued badge throughout the school day.
- Staff members, other district employees, visitors, and volunteers shall never prop open a school door.
- All visitors and volunteers must participate in campus drills if on campus during a drill.
- Visitors and volunteers must not enter classrooms without prior arrangements with the classroom teacher. Any visit to the classroom must begin with checking in at the front office.
