Goodbye (For Now)
Pattengill Community,
We have officially reached the end of the school and it is still hard to believe. There were many tears as we all said goodbye for now. It was especially hard to say farewell to our 5th grade class we have watched grow from kindergarteners and are now headed to accomplish great things in middle school. We also said goodbye to several staff members who have left a lasting legacy at Pattengill. Our custodian Gary Chambers, Kathy Litten, our kitchen manager, and our paraprofessional Colleen Seewald are retiring and will truly be missed.
Your student came home with a Welcome Letter and Supply List from their new teacher. Please trust that our goal is to create classrooms where each child feels supported, challenged, and valued. Our team of experienced educators collaborate to carefully consider various factors when making class assignments, including academic needs, social dynamics, and individual learning styles. Our priority is to create balanced and supportive learning environments where every child can thrive. While we cannot accommodate specific requests for individual teachers, we are committed to ensuring your child is in an environment that fosters their academic, personal, and social growth. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
On behalf of the Pattengill Staff, we thank each of you for your support, for entrusting us with your child's education, and for being integral members of our school community. I wish you and your families a wonderful summer vacation.
The Pattengill Main Office will be open daily during regular school hours until June 27th. We will reopen on August 6th.
