Bronco Bulletin Parent Newsletter
March 17-21, 2025
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
What's Happening This Week?
Happy Sunday! We are ready for a great week of learning. Report cards will be sent home on Friday. If your student is in danger of being retained for grades, there will be a possible retention notice with the report card. If your child gets a letter, please read over it and keep in communication with your child's teacher and monitor their grade in PowerSchool weekly. Many times, students who are not ready for the next grade need more time to strengthen skills before moving to the next grade so they are successful. Retention will be discussed with parents and all decisions will be made in May when we have the last 9 weeks final grades. Remember that in addition to grades, students must meet sttendance requirements so we've been sending those letters to students who are in attendance danger too. Please read over the newsletter to see what all is happening this week at school. We do have early dismissal on Wednesday and will send buses home at 11:45. Watch for a Remind about car load pick up times. Thank you for your partnership in helping our Broncos to learn and grow. It's going to be a great week to be a Bronco!

CAR POOL HELP NEEDED...
CAR POOL has shifted due to construction. Please bear with us and be patient. If you want your child to move to the bus, call the office and we can get you the information.
Parents, we will be shifting car pool loading and unloading area soon due to construction. This will be even more important for you to not arrive early. We will post information and directions of when this shift will begin. If you would like to move your child to the bus to avoid the car line, please call the office and we can help. We appreciate your patience with the construction and our car line.
We really need your help parents! We have so many parents in car line that it's causing issues. If you get here BEFORE we start unloading, the line is backing up to the road and that's not safe. If you get here and the line is already to the turn, PLEASE pull up and don't leave any gaps. If you see a bus needing to get out, please yield to the bus so they can get out otherwise you can pull up and you DO NOT have to keep those gaps open. Please, please don't get here before 7:00. You need to arrive between 7 and be here before 8:00. If you arrive right at the bell, the duty teachers have to get to their classes. They can't stay there because the line just gets bigger and bigger after the bell. We know this can be frustrating but need you to understand that there has to be an end or they'd never get to their class. If you want to start your child on the bus, call and we can help get that started. THANK YOU for your cooperation and assistance.

This month we are focusing on Courage. Read below for how you can help by having conversations with your child about this month's connection both at school and at home.
Courage
March Family Newsletter
Home Connection Activity
Parents, talk with your child about ways to show courage when they are faced wtih trying something new or hard. Courage is shown in many ways both at home and school. Many times, our students are scared to try work or to try something because they aren't sure if they will be successful. Students need to know that even adults have to try things and aren't always successful at the first try. Talk openly with your child about things that are difficult for you and how you try it anyway. Remember learning to ride a bike or learning to tie your shoes? Those were hard tasks and took time and good attitude to master. Having conversations about having a mindset to step up and try hard things will help your child beyond the walls of their clasroom.
