Happy New YearI hope you had a peaceful holiday break surrounded by family and friends. We are so excited about the start of the 2nd semester, you will be able to witness your little Eagle grow in leaps and bounds!

Our teachers will be assessing all students in PK 3 & PK 4 to see their progress since the start of school. Once teachers have completed testing their students, they will share the progress with you. This is data will also be shared with our SEISD board members so they can see our progress.

Don't forget to mark your calendars on the events for this month.

Your little Eagles were blessed with gifts the last week of school. Thank you to the following: SEHS Top Club & Project Vida, the Khalid foundation & Boys-Girls club of EPTX and the San Elizario Marshals Office. If your little one was out ill and has an excused absent, they have a gift waiting for them. We will verify the list of students.

They have one more surprise coming soon, as soon as I have date, information will be shared through classroom dojo.

January 10: Campus Writing Anthology kick off! Students will begin drawing their stories and enjoy a day in their pajama's with tennis shoes.

Your child's attendance is so important for them to keep improving each day. We asked that you make Doctors appointments on Monday's or as late as possible in the day. We also need your support with not taking your children out early, unless it's an emergency. If they are ill, ensure you send a note with them when they return, otherwise it will be unexcused.

1:10 to 1:40: PK-3: Barba, Delgado, Gentry and Rodriguez

2:00 to 2:30: PK-4: Ballesteros, Berumen and Montoya

2:45 to 3:15: PK-4: Benavidez, Mendoza and Ortega.

Beginning this month our students will begin practicing safety drills. Our teachers will practice with them so they know what needs to be done. For more information click on campus safety information below. We will have a fire drill and a lock down drill coming up soon!
