Promise Prep Weekly

Dates to Remember
May 29- Kindergarten Graduation- more information below
June 5- Last Day of School- Early Dismissal 1PM
Kindergarten Graduation
Kindergarten Graduation will be taking place on Wednesday, May 29th, at 1:45PM. Due to our small space, we have limited seating. Because of this, we asks that only the parents of the Kindergarten scholar attend the graduation. Please do NOT invite aunts, uncles, grandparents, older/younger siblings.
Again, because of our small space, we ask that as soon as the ceremony is over, parents take their children home with them. The parking lot can get crazy with buses and cars arriving to pick up our scholars for the ride home, so we would like to have all parents out of the parking lot, no later than 2:45PM. Parents are also asked to pick up any older sibilings after the ceremony, so they do not have to return to school for normal school dismissal.

A Thought from Principal Mayer
Dear Parents,
Let me start by saying this will be the last Promise Prep Weekly Note for the 23/24 school year. It has been an absolute pleasure being the principal of this school and we have enjoyed working with all of your scholars. While we are looking forward to Summer Vacation, know that we will miss you all and cannot wait for the August 2024 school year to begin.
Please, if you have not done so already, complete your 24/25 school year registration and, if you know someone looking for a school, next year, encourage them to stop by and register. For Kindergarten registration, the future scholar will have to have turned 5 years old, before October 1st. We will have limited office hours over the summer. Someone will be here to help with registrations Mondays-Thursdays. The office will be closed on all Fridays, as well as June 19th, and July 4th. Signs will be posted on the door.
Just a reminder, that the 24/25 school year will have a different start and end time. This was changed so all of our PLA schools will be starting and ending the same time. The school day start and end time are as follows:
Doors open at 7:50AM
Dismissal starts at 2:30PM.
Summer Advantage information:
Start date- June 10
End date- July 12
Hours- 8:00AM-2:30PM
No Summer Advantage on June 19 and July 4.
Summer Advantage for PLA@PromisePrep scholars will take place at PLA@103
3920 Baker Drive
Indianapolis, IN 46235
Enrollment is full, so if you have not already signed up, it is too late.
We thank you all for trusting us with your precious scholars. We wish you all a safe and exciting summer. See you all in August!!
Have a great 3 day weekend!!
