- Weekly "Hello, ELA!" skills practice. This is a quarterly grade.
- MAP Practice
- Read to Succeed: Ground Zero , by Alan Gratz
Social Studies & Science
- Ancient Greece
- We are diverting our time this week to just ELA. We will pay back the time once MAP Testing begins. :)
- Document Based Question: Was Alexander the Great really great?
- Students will analyze primary and secondary sources to support their claim regarding Alexander's title.
- We will continue to practice reading maps and timelines.
- Rock Cycle
- Watch for a permission slip to come home for all the fun and delicious food models to come home for you to sign.
Final Thoughts
1. Thank you for the donations of gum, tap, and peppermints. We really do use these important items everyday.
2. Students are bringing home lots of information about the Book Fair. Students who have their Scholastic account loaded or bring money will be allowed to shop in the mornings.
3. We have had 100% attendance once again this week!! Thank you for making school a priority.
