Get all your gear ready for this week's football outfits! Students brought home a hardcopy of the daily theme. Besides football this week, we will also be assessing some algebra in math. As well as the students' ability to identify an author's claim and distinguish which claims are supported by reasons and evidence in ELA. Therefore, be prepared to back up your Super Bowl predictions and arguments with some facts when you talk to your Silver Teamie.

Math

Kahn Course Mastery: 60% due Tuesday, March 11
Football Math: Due Friday, Feb. 7. The completed work is the ticket into the Super Bowl Party we will enjoy in class. Students who are not done with their work will be complete it during the party.

English

Weekly "Hello, ELA!" skills practice. This is a quarterly grade.
The Art of the Argument: Students will be learning to identify supported claims, supporting evidence, and valid reasoning. Expect their proposals at home to grow more advanced. 🙂
