As we gear up for the Hazen vs. Des Arc football game on September 6, it's time to kick off the school year with our annual Pantry Pile-Up competition! This year, we're determined to outshine those Eagles on and off the field. To boost our chances, we’re offering a special Pizza Party Incentive for the two advisory classes that bring in the most canned goods and non-perishable items!

Here's How It Works:

• Competition Dates: Now through NOON on September 6.
• Minimum Donation: To qualify for the pizza party, your advisory class must donate at least 30 items.

Important Reminders:

• Check Expiration Dates: Please double-check the expiration dates on all donated items. The county pantry cannot accept expired goods, and these will not count toward your class’s total.

Let’s make sure Hazen comes out on top this year—both on the field and in the community!

During the regular monthly meeting on August 12, 2024, the Hazen School Board approved several changes to the school calendar. These updates include:

1. Graduation Date: The graduation date for the senior class has been changed from May 4 to May 18, 2024.

2. Our first early release day is:

   • September 4, 2024

Parents, students, and staff are encouraged to review the revised calendar once it's published to stay informed of the new dates.
