Priority Registration is OPEN! (with update)

Priority registration is open from now until February 16th. For the first fifty students registering, we will give a $150 discount on the registration fee! For all remaining priority registrations, there will be a $100 discount on the registration fee through February 16th.

Reading [Spirit] Week (February 26-March 2nd)

Reading [Spirit] Week is coming up at the end of February. In preparation for this, we will be sending home a reading log in the Monday folders. We are having a month-long challenge, ending on February 23rd, to boost our students' READING SPIRIT! Keep an eye out for this next week!

Parent-Child Dance: Written in the Stars

Our parent-child semi-formal dance, Written in the Stars, will be held on Friday, February 16th. We will have music, appetizers, a photographer, and a night-sky viewing facilitated by the Las Vegas Astronomical Society. Bring your dancing shoes and join us as we enjoy an evening filled with stars. ($5/family; $1/digital photo pose)

Science Fair Topic due February 2nd (for individual projects!)

Last week's Friday Letter discussed our science fair. For those who are doing individual projects, please remember that Friday, February 2nd is the deadline to give your teacher the topic!

Girl Scout Update: Mermaid Under the Sea Party @ Council

For those registered in Troop 139, there will be a Mermaid Under the Sea party at the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada Council located at 2941 E. Harris Avenue. If you are planning on going, and have not yet filled out an RSVP, please RSVP here.

Little Caesar's Fundraiser Update

We have raised $390 of our $1000 goal. I am extending the fundraiser until Tuesday, January 30th.

Thank You for Donating to Jump Rope for Heart

To all who have supported our fourth grade's Giving Without Walls project, we thank you for your donations. Our goal was to raise $5000 for the American Heart Association and we have already raised $3240 in our first week! The project will run through February and we're in a great position to not only meet, but exceed our goals!
