Dear Senior Parents,

Can you believe how quickly the end of the year is approaching? With all the excitement and anticipation, we wanted to make sure you have all the essential information in one place to alleviate any potential stress.

As we gear up for graduation, please ensure your senior has their graduation robe, mortar board, and tassel ready. It's important to note that BISD has a policy against decorating mortar boards, so please remind your senior to adhere to this guideline.

Looking ahead, we have a couple of upcoming events where your senior will need to don their graduation attire. Firstly, for the Back to Elementary Day event, we encourage your student to proudly wear their graduation gear, symbolizing their journey and inspiring younger students. Additionally, they'll need their attire for the BECs walk directly following the senior breakfast.

In addition, I am excited to share that we do not have tickets for graduation! You're welcome to bring as many guests as you'd like to share in this joyous celebration. After all, the more, the merrier!

Hello, I want to make sure you have the details for Project Celebration. Project Celebration occurs the evening of graduation day (May 23rd). You arrive at BHS at 11pm for check in. Make sure to have your ID. You will board a bus and go to Sparetime. This is an all night event, and you can not leave once there. You also must ride the bus to and from the event. You will return to BHS from breakfast at 6am.

Mark your calendars for our Senior Fun Day in Waco, Texas, on May 17th. We'll be taking over Main Event and Topgolf for a day of friendly competition, awesome activities, and unforgettable memories with your classmates!

Here's the lowdown:
Location: Main Event & Topgolf Waco (located right next to each other!)
Date: Friday, May 17th
Time: 8:30-4:00 (exact time will be confirmed closer to the date)
Cost: $15 (covers transportation, activities at both venues and pizza/drink for lunch -- additional items available for purchase)

This is your chance to unleash your inner golfer at Top Golf, bowl a strike, dominate the arcade games, get your adrenaline pumping with a climb on their gravity ropes course, or show your skills at laser tag! Most of all, you will create lasting memories with the people you've shared these past four years.

Don't miss out on this final chance to bond with your classmates before we embark on our next adventures!

Next week on May 15th and 16th Seniors will be turning in their laptops. Here's how it will happen:

- At the beginning of each period, I will ask all students to report to the Macdoc with their laptops and chargers.

- You will turn in both your laptop and charger

Your equipment will be inspected and labeled, and you will meet briefly with a staff member who will record some basic information.

Please make sure you have your laptop and charger with you on the dates designated for your turn-in.

Every graduate will be photographed during the graduation ceremony. Please provide your contact information so that complimentary proofs from the ceremony can be mailed and emailed.
