❄️ Brace Yourself for the Cold Snap, McFarland! ❄️ It’s going to be so chilly next week that your freezer might feel like a tropical getaway! 🥶 But don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of ways to keep you warm, active, and entertained this winter (scroll through the newsletter for additional information on these programs, and more!):
- 🎿 Hit the Slopes! Don’t miss out on our 6th–8th Grade Ski/Snowboard Trip #2 to Tyrol Basin! Register by January 24th and join us for a day of snowy fun.
- 🪵 Get Crafty! Session IV of our Community Woodworking class (ages 18+) is around the corner. Sign up by January 27th to create something amazing this winter.
- 💦 Dive into Fitness! Make a splash with our water exercise classes (ages 16+). Low-impact, joint-friendly, and full of fun, these sessions will keep you moving no matter how cold it gets outside.
- 💡 Village of McFarland Wellness Fair! Next Wednesday, January 22nd, 1-3PM is the Village of McFarland’s Wellness Fair! Stop by to explore resources for a healthier, happier 2024.
- 🎭 Don’t Miss Bye Bye Birdie! Catch the talented IMMS students in their production of Bye Bye Birdie. It’s a musical theater classic you won’t want to miss! Tickets are available now, so grab yours and enjoy a night of incredible performances.

🩺 Village of McFarland "New Year, New You" Wellness Fair 🏃
Join the McFarland Senior Outreach Services Department for their inaugural "New Year, New You" Wellness Fair!
Instructors from the department's health and wellness classes will give demonstrations on the modalities that they teach and explain the importance of engaging in physical activities to improve overall health and wellness. The instructors will be on-hand to answer any questions and assist with registration for class sessions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to win a variety of door prizes including free class sessions. Spartan Nutrition will also be providing some of their most popular flavors of delicious and nutritious protein shakes. Wear some comfortable clothes and get ready to move into a healthier 2025!

Aquatic Reminders
- If school is cancelled / delayed for weather, pool programs are likely cancelled until conditions improve. If it's safe, we may resume programming later in the day. Watch your email and social media for updates.
- Free lane reservations are required for Lap Swim lanes. These help to ensure we have proper staffing and lane space available. Make sure you are coming at the correct time.
- When entering the building, please use cross walk areas and avoid walking on the sloped cement dividing the driveway / parking area. It is slick when snow/ice covered!

🏀 Youth Open Gym & Adult Drop-in Volleyball 🏐
Youth Open Gym
4K-12th Grade students! Join us on select Saturday afternoons from November through February for some fun and active playtime! $2.00/resident youth and $4.00/non-resident youth. Adult Drop-in Volleyball
