This Fall we’ll be exploring the Book of Acts, which chronicles some of the most important events in Christian history: the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the early church, the scattering of Jesus’s disciples across the known world, and more. Giving Tree
Our Christmas tree will be up in the sanctuary on November 10 and loaded with tags! We have from November 10 until December 1 to shop for friends and neighbors in need, many of whom we support during the year with our mission outreach. Let’s help make this a Merry Christmas for them all.
Tags on the tree are for children of local families, children whose families are homeless and part of Family Promise, single moms and their children at Friendship Center for New Beginnings in Flemington, Family Promise in Hunterdon County, children and teens in an impoverished rural area in Maine, Safe in Hunterdon, Family Succes Center, Landsdowne Treatment Services and our own CPC Preschool Scholarship Fund.
Each tag describes an individual need for a gift and you are welcome to take one or several.
Please return all gifts UNWRAPPED and place them under the tree by Sunday, December 1.
Tape the tags to your gifts and you can include wrapping paper and tape if you’d like to.
The Mission Team will gather in Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, December 3 to pack up and
organize all the gifts for local delivery or mailing.
In addition to the tree in our sanctuary, we also have some tags available online for those who are worshipping from home and wish to participate. Please use the link below to give online!
Thank you everyone for your generous support as always!
