Weekly News - May 10, 2024
Dear Middlebrook Families,
We would be remiss if we did not send a message of sincere thanks to the individuals and families who contributed to Teacher Appreciation Week. So many creative ideas and kind thoughts went into making our staff feel special. Children dressed in favorite colors, charcuterie lunch, raffle items and hydrating drinks were just a few of the highlights this week. Just as we teach our children gratitude, we want to take this time to express our deep appreciation for your efforts and generosity.
On another note, please remember that every time you enter the building, you should be prepared to show your current ID. Please proceed to the main office where you will sign in and receive a visitor badge to wear during your time here. This process ensures the safety of all our children. We do recognize that at times this causes an inconvenience, however safety is our first priority. We appreciate your understanding and anticipated cooperation.
For all the mothers in our community, please enjoy being celebrated this weekend with family and friends. Hopefully you will get some time to relax and be pampered on this special day.
Have a great weekend,
Abby Demars- Interim Principal
Michele Molloy- Assistant Principal

Author Visit
On Tuesday, Middlebrook welcomed author Jerry Pallotta. Students were so excited to meet the writer of over 100 books, discover more about his writing process and where he gets his writing ideas from. Some families attended his evening performance at Trumbull High School and had a fabulous time. Thank you so much to our PTA for funding this amazing experience for students and families.

3rd Grade Health Assessments
Per Trumbull Board of Education Policy and CT State Regulations. Health assessments are required for all students entering Trumbull Public and private schools and are required again in grades 3, 6 and 9 to ascertain whether a student has any physical disability or other health problem.
