An Innovative Program to Mentor Young Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
LifePrep provides young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to have a college experience at Nazareth. The goal of the LifePrep program is to prepare LifePrep students for success, to enter the workforce, and be active members of their community. As Nazareth student, you can mentor one of these youths in a variety of roles including social, academic, and vocational experiences.
Every Weekday (Mon-Fri) 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM during the academic year
If you have a work study and want to gain experience working with a diverse population this program is where you can learn skills that will be valuable in their professional life. Mentors have found the program worthwhile for real life application in coursework and class discussions.
