Note from Mr. Rustad: Summer is Here!
Kennedy Families,
We have officially wrapped up the 2022-23 school year at Kennedy and it was a great year! Our Cubs worked really hard on their academic and social skills throughout the year. They were able to celebrate their accomplishments with class picnics and other fun events at the end of the year.
As we look ahead at the 2023-24 school year, we have a few changes in classroom teachers. Listed below are the anticipated classroom teachers for next school year.
Grade Level Teachers
Kindergarten: Molly Lout, Kelsey McConkey, and Shonita Harper
1st Grade: Rachel Brennan and Dawn Dahline
2nd Grade: Sherry Imhoff, Kim Veroeven, and Sandy Wiste
3rd Grade: Lucas Meyers and Alex Wischnack
4th Grade: Carol Schulz and Parker Winning
5th Grade: Jessie Kelly and Calleena Uhrich
Parents, thank you for your partnership with us this year. We work together as a team to make the school year the best it can be for every Cub. I am certain that we will have another great school year in '23-'24. Until then, I hope that all of our Kennedy families have a great summer creating memories and having lots of fun!

SCHOOLWIDE TITLE 1 SERVICES AT KENNEDY
Kennedy is a schoolwide Title 1 School. In the past, Title 1 funds were available to
provide additional support to students who qualified based on their test scores. As a schoolwide Title 1 school we are now able to utilize those resources more flexibly to support any students that would benefit. This fits wonderfully with our small group instruction blocks when students receive acceleration or enrichment based on their specific needs. For further information, contact Steve Rustad, principal at Kennedy Elementary.
Have a great summer!
