School Physical and Immunizations reminder
State school code requires all ninth grade and new students to provide proof of a physical examination and mandatory immunizations prior to October 15. Seniors require their second meningococcal conjugate or (MenACWY) immunization after the age of 16. If a student does not comply before October 15th, they will be subject to exclusion from school. We ask for families to help in ensuring these requirements are addressed as soon as possible. Leyden hosts session about Planning and Paying for College
Leyden Student Services will host a special session to help parents plan and pay for college, on September 19 at 6:00 p.m. at East Leyden High School, student cafeteria. This session is open to all Leyden families and will provide valuable information on financial aid, college financing, and the application process.
English presentations will be held in the Cafeteria and Spanish presentations will be held in the Auditorium. The program will conclude at 7:30 p.m. and representatives will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
Leyden offers virtual parent series
Leyden Student Services offers a virtual parent series through a partnership with Glenbard Parent Series (GPS) that provides free, public, day and evening sessions.

Leyden Golf team places 3rd in Leyden Invite
Congratulations to the Leyden Golf team on taking 3rd place in the Leyden Invite with a team total of 323. Two golfers, Kacper Kasprzyk and Antonio Petrucci, received medals for finishing in the top 10 of the tournament. Great job Eagles!
