This year we solicited nominations for the teacher of the year from teachers, support staff, parents, students, and the community at large. A nomination committee consisting of a student, parent, teacher, administrator and librarian reviewed these nominations and selected Mrs. Bolton as the 2024-25 HTHS teacher of the year! Mrs. Bolton is a 2013 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School. She teaches Spanish II, Advanced Spanish II, and Advanced Spanish IV. Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Brookelyn Bolton as the HTHS Teacher of the Year!

Come out and support our Football Huskies as they compete in the Second Round Playoffs against Hoover. Game time is 7:00 pm. Tickets for sale on GoFan and at the gate!

The HTHS AP History Teachers were recognized at a recent A+ College Ready Conference.

• Most Outstanding AP Government Teacher - Jeff Schrupp
• Most Outstanding Teachers for AP World History - Jeff Schrupp and Abby Kirkland
• Most Outstanding Teachers for AP US History - Josh Haynes and Katy Parr

The awards were based on qualify scores for the 2023 AP Exams. Congratulations to these amazing History teachers!

The Harris School Solutions online payment system will be offline for maintenance Friday, November 17, 2023 – Sunday, November 19, 2023. The system will be inaccessible to all users during this time but is scheduled to be back online Monday, November 20, 2023.

First Semester Exams will take place Monday, December 11 through Friday, December 15. There will be no early exams and no exam exemptions for the fall exams. Note that exams will end each day at 12:20. Buses will run at 12:50 each day except December 15 they will run at 12:00 noon.
