Please notify your school nurse if your student has been diagnosed by a Health Care Provider of the following Upper Respiratory Illnesses:

As cold and flu season nears, here are a few reminders on ways to help you stay healthy.

WASH, WASH, WASH YOUR HANDS! This is still the best defense against illness. Encourage your children to wash their hands, especially before meals, using soap and warm water.
Remind your children to cover their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
Avoid sharing cups, water bottles, or eating utensils with others.
Get plenty of rest! School-age children should get 9- 11 hours of sleep each night.
Drink lots of fluids and eat a balanced diet, especially breakfast!
Dress appropriately for cold weather. Please see that your children choose warm, comfortable clothing for school each day. Outdoor recess is planned for each day temperatures are above 32 degrees.
