Happy Friday South Community!
Hope you all had a great week! At the South School - we had a multi day visit in Grade 4 for SEED science presentations with some incredible scientists. This grant-funded opportunity was brought to us by STEM Coordinator, Diane McDonough. A big thank you to her - the Grade 4 students had a blast with hands on activities related to G4 standards.
The South School production of Willy Wonka occurred on last night with 250+ audience members in attendance. This morning we had our second performance for all of our Kindergarten-Grade 5 students who LOVED seeing their classmates on stage. Thank you to the amazing production team: Mrs. Buck (Director), Mr. Curley (Music Director), Ms. Montello (Set Design) and Mrs. Laquidara (Choreography/Costumes). A special thank you to SPS central office for their support and to School Committee for their commitment to the arts. A final shout out to South School PTO who has committed to aiding the theater program moving forward! And finally a huge thank you to the students and their parents/caregivers for the time and commitment it takes to put on such an incredible performance.
Have a FINtastic weekend!

Update from Nurse Kaplan
Please remember to send in a change of clothing for your child to keep in the classroom or their backpack. There have been many students ( younger and older) recently who have needed clothing from the clinic. It is always more comfortable for students to have their own clothing when needed rather than trying to fit into clothing from the clinic that is too big or not their style. If clothing is borrowed, please launder and return it as soon as possible. Thanks so much.
