Ash Wednesday

On this special day, Ash Wednesday, may my small sacrifices be a way to clear away the clutter in my life to see you more clearly. Let me be aware of those who are in so much more suffering than I am. Lord, I know there is darkness within me and around me. Most of all Lord, help me to honor this day with the ashes on my forehead. They help me to remember where I have come from and where I am going. I pray that this Lenten season will make me so much more aware of how much I need your healing in my life.

Thursday After Ash Wednesday

Lord, let everything I do this day and in this season of Lent come from you and be inspired by you. I long to be closer to you. Help me to remember that nothing is important in my life unless it glorifies you in some way. Help me to rely on you for help. Heal me, Lord, and help me to find you in the darkness of my life. Let me reach out in this darkness and feel your hand and love there to guide me.

Lord, I know how much you love me. It’s hard for me to feel it sometimes, but I know your love is always with me. Help me to use your love in all things that I do each day. I am weak, but I know with your help, I will come closer to you.

Loving creator, let me be aware of the many ways you reach out to help me today and let me stand in awe of the power that you use in such loving ways.

THE FIRST WEEK OF LENT – SUNDAY

Lord God, you who breathed the spirit of life within me. Draw out of me the light and life you created. Help me to find my way back to you. Help me to use my life to reflect your glory and serve others as your son Jesus did.

You've got multiple work schedules, lessons, commitments, and special appointments---keeping track of the whole family can be dizzying!

In the jmc Family portal, head to the "Teacher Conference Scheduler" to get started scheduling teacher conferences.

Step One: Select a date from the "Conference Day" drop-down list to see conference times available on that date.

Step Two: Select a time to meet with your students teacher using the "Appointment Time" drop-down list next to each teacher's name.

Fun Fact: If a teacher is already scheduled for a time, that time won't appear in the "Appointment Time" drop-down list.

Step Three: Repeat these steps for each kiddo in your family to schedule their conferences.

Fun Fact: Return to this page at any time to view or edit conferences you have previously scheduled.

Step Four: Click the "Print" button to print your conference schedule and you are all set!

Please make sure you are prepared for that early morning or late night Remind & JMC notification of school closures or late starts due to inclement weather. Double check in your JMC Family that you have checked the boxes to receive texts.

As a reminder we follow the Spencer Community School for late starts, early dismissals, and cancellations due to weather. I send out the Remind and JMC message after I receive the message from Central Office.
