Portrait Masters took group portraits at CES on Wednesday, April 17. If you would like to purchase any of these photos, you may still order online. SBAC TESTING 3RD-5TH GRADES
Grades 3-5 will be doing SBAC Testing through April 25. Having a good breakfast, plenty of rest and getting to school on time, will help your child have a more successful testing experience.
VOLUNTEERS FOR FIELD TRIPS
If you are wanting to attend a classroom field trip or end of year activity, please remember to make sure your background check and volunteer training is current. PICK UP/DROP OFF REMINDER
Please remember to use caution while driving through the school parking lots and follow the posted speed limit to help ensure the safety of our students. Friendly reminder- middle school students are still in session in the afternoons, so please drive cautiously through their school. Thank you!

2024-2025 Colton Preschool Registration
Colton Preschool Registration is ready now! Please register under the 24-25 school year using the link below if you plan on returning or have a sibling that needs to sign up (this includes part time, full time and Preschool Promise). New Volunteer Training Requirement
All parents and volunteers, in order for you to work in or around our buildings, you must clear an ODE and CSD background check and complete mandatory training. If you have only completed one of the online training modules, please email hr@colton.k12.or.us to receive the full set. This is a new requirement. Science - Technology - Engineering - Math in the Library
4th and 5th Grade: S.T.E.M. Fair Projects
Our 4th and 5th grade students are beginning to prepare for our school STEM Fair. Project proposals were due March 21st. Once approved, students can begin their projects, research, experiments and/or investigations. Click HERE for a copy of the Project Packet that will help guide your research and investigation.
S.T.E.M. in 2nd and 3rd Grade
Our 2nd and 3rd grade students are learning about Engineering and that an engineer is a person that wants to know how and why something works.
S.T.E.M. in Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Our Kindergartners and 1st grade students have been learning block coding and programming skills. They are programming in code.org. Now that students know how to LOOP and repeat commands, they will be learning how to code EVENTS that make 2 characters interact in PLAY LAB.
