Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Cherry Lane Elementary! I am delighted to welcome you back, and for those of you who are new to our community, we are thrilled to have you join us.

This year, we’re excited to introduce a Modified Princeton Model, serving our vibrant 3rd through 5th grade students. We are honored to work alongside our sister school, RP Connor Elementary, which will be serving the same families for K-2. Together, we are committed to providing a cohesive and enriching educational experience for your children.

At Cherry Lane, we firmly believe that parents play an essential role in the education of their children. Research consistently shows that students whose parents are actively involved in their education tend to achieve higher levels of success in school. Your partnership is invaluable to us, and we encourage you to be engaged and involved in your child's learning journey. Day 1 was a huge success! It was such a pleasure to see all the smiling faces back in the building, ready for a great year ahead. We know our buses ran behind schedule today, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work out the kinks to ensure all students get home safely.

Bus Safety Drills are important exercises conducted annually in all elementary schools to ensure that students know how to safely board, ride, and exit the school bus. These drills teach students essential safety procedures, such as how to respond in case of an emergency, proper behavior on the bus, and the importance of following the bus driver's instructions. By practicing these drills each year, we help keep all students safe while traveling to and from school.

Our Bus Safety Drills are taking place September 11th and 12th during P.E. Classes.
