Bio: A native of North Carolina, I graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I have taught in sixth, fifth and my personal favorite, third grade over the last 8 years. I love spending time with my two children, Kaitlyn and Drew. In my spare time, I love to find activities or workouts to do outdoors or work at my part-time job at a golf course.

🤒 Keep your child home if they’re sick!

⏰ Wait 24 hours after a fever has resolved (without medication) before sending kids back.

🧼 Encourage frequent handwashing at home and at school!

💪 Remind your child to cough or sneeze into their elbow to protect those around them.

Every year, our Washington community comes together to create Holiday Magic for our students and families in need. This year, the need is greater than ever, and we’re asking for your help to ensure all families can experience the joy of the season. We need a few more $25 gift cards (Amazon, Target or Walmart) to support our families. If you are able to contribute, please sign up using the Sign Up Genius. Parents can bring their gift cards directly to school or students can bring gift cards in a labeled envelope or bag to the main office. They can be placed in the PTA Box and will be distributed by our Student Support Services team to families in need before winter break.

Please bring store-bought cookies in original packaging, or provide the recipe ingredients if you are baking at home.
