MES Soaring to Success
Principal weekly update
First I want to thank all of you for completing the PowerSchool updated forms!! We had 100% completed as of today. It is greatly appreciated!
We are really getting into the swing of things this week! I wanted to give you a heads up that we are trying out a new dismissal procedure that involves checking students into the gym for pick ups. This might delay the start of our release just a couple of minutes. I apologize for that but I know in a few days it will be going smooth and the time we open the door will be back to normal!
Our yearly open house is next Thursday night from 6:00 - 7:00. We will be running it a little different this year. Most classrooms will be open from 6:00 - 7:00 for you to visit at any time during that time frame. If your child's teacher or grade level team is going to do a presentation at a particular time they will notify you in advanced. Please also stop by the cafe to visit our annual community fair and PTO!
Next week we will be participating in the National Rock Your School Day on Monday September 23! All students will participate in a morning meeting in the gym where we will celebrate using our imagination! I am including a video if you would like to see what it is all about!
Below you will see links to two special contest that MES students are invited to join. One is a brownie bake off and one is a Constitution contest.
The flyer for the PTO annual Mums sale is also below.

As a reminder, please keep in mind sensibly size water bottles. The giant ones pose issues when spilled. We have water filling stations.
For gym and recess don't forget no flip flops.
