In honor of Black History Month, we are excited to present Letters to Harriet Tubman assembly next Wednesday, February 19th, an inspiring theatrical performance that brings history to life through storytelling, music, and movement. Presented by The Music Center, this powerful assembly celebrates the legacy of Harriet Tubman and the enduring impact of her courage and leadership.

The mission of Letters to Harriet Tubman is to inspire, empower, and educate through the arts by sharing the untold stories of historical changemakers. This performance invites students to reflect on the strength, resilience, and contributions of Harriet Tubman and those who fought for freedom.

This assembly aligns with our commitment to providing enriching experiences that spark meaningful conversations and encourage critical thinking.

To continue the discussion at home, here are three questions to ask your child after the assembly:

1. Who is Harriet Tubman and what was her mission?
2. What was your favorite part about her story?

We look forward to this powerful experience and can’t wait for our students to share their thoughts with you!
