School Governance Council
We are excited to announce that the School Governance Council Elections are quickly approaching! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and have a say in the decision-making process at our school.
From May 13th through June 7th, we are accepting declarations of candidacy for parents and teachers on the School Governance Council. If you are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on our school community, we encourage you to declare candidacy.
The School Governance Council plays a vital role in shaping school goals and initiatives, and your voice and perspective are invaluable in this process. By serving on the council, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the principal, parents, teachers, students and community members to help ensure that our school is providing the best possible education for our students.

Voting will take place from July 15th through the 19th, so mark your calendars and make sure your voice is heard by casting your vote. For parents, a ballot will be sent to the email address on file in Infinite Campus. Teacher ballots will be sent to their Fulton County email address.

Virtual Parent Information Sessions
We will be hosting another Virtual Parent Information Session on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The session will begin at 12:00 PM and will be held via Microsoft Teams.
During this informative event, we will:
- Review our educational program and its offerings for the upcoming academic year
- Provide detailed instructions and assistance with the enrollment process
- Address any questions or concerns you may have
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about what we have planned for your child's education and to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.

Tiger Welcome Week
We would like to cordially invite you to engage in our upcoming Tiger Welcome Week! It will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024, with a special social media challenge. Program of Study Spotlight: Cybersecurity
A career in the cybersecurity field involves protecting computer systems, networks, and data from cyber-attacks and unauthorized access. Professionals in this field work to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to incidents when they occur. Here’s an overview of what a career in cybersecurity entails:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Security Analyst: Monitors networks for security breaches, investigates incidents, and installs and manages security software. They also conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Security Engineer: Designs and implements secure network solutions, develops security standards and best practices, and builds and maintains systems to protect against cyber threats.
- Security Architect: Develops the overall security strategy for an organization, designs security infrastructure, and ensures all systems are compliant with security standards.
- Incident Responder: Deals with security breaches and threats in real-time, coordinates responses to cyber incidents, and works to mitigate the impact of attacks.
- Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker): Simulates cyber-attacks to identify and fix security weaknesses before malicious hackers can exploit them.
