D103 is excited to bring the power of MagicSchool, an AI platform created specifically for education, to our students and staff!
MagicSchool is:
Agile: Useful for assisting teachers with daily tasks so they can spend more time in direct contact with students.
Education-Centered: Developed by educators to meet the various needs of students and staff.
Versatile: Useful for all grade levels, subjects, and non-teaching roles.
Student Empowering: In addition to enabling students to build AI literacy skills, MagicSchool provides opportunities for instant feedback, tutoring, and assistance while maintaining strict safeguards such as content moderation, privacy measures, and teacher oversight.
Ethical & Accurate: Provides a user-friendly experience that highlights potential biases, prioritizes factual accuracy, and protects personally identifiable information.
Next Steps:
D103 staff will receive training materials and support for exploring MagicSchool during the remainder of the current school year.
D103 is finalizing guidelines for the uses of MagicSchool and AI tools.
Students will be supported in learning ethical and safe use of AI as an assistive tool.
